WATCH: Options galore for literature lovers as Bocas kicks off

The NGC Bocas Lit Fest kicks off on Wednesday and there is an overabundance of activity carded for the next few days.

Media & Marketing Coordinator for NGC Bocas Lit Fest, Ardene Sirjoo stopped by Loop to share a bit of what's on from this Wednesday to Sunday. She indicated that one of the goals of the Bocas team was to include activities that focused on some of the global human rights issues of today. With that said, literary enthusiasts can look out for LIT| On Fleek, which invites guests to interact with some of the Caribbean's best LGBT writers, Your Story, a writing workshop for women as well as panels debating pressing matters such as press freedom, T&T’s criminal justice system, and more.

One of the major attractions to the festival includes a one-on-one discussion with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley on his memoir 'From Mason Hall to Whitehall'.

Find out more about what you can look forward to over the next few days and visit the NGC Bocas Lit Fest's website and Facebook for their full schedule of events.
