Citizens are being warned to watch out for up to three days of rainy weather from Wednesday at 10:00 am to Friday at 8:00 pm.

The Met Office issued an Adverse Weather Alert - Yellow Level, on Tuesday, warning of an active Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITZC) which was expected to pass over Trinidad and Tobago from Wednesday.

The alert was issued from Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00 am to Friday, October 19 at 8:00 pm.

The Met Office warned that the active ITCZ is expected to produce heavy showers and thunderstorms over some areas, which could lead to flash flooding, gusty winds and landslides/landslips.

Citizens are advised to monitor official weather updates from the Met Office for further developments.
