WATCH: Renegades back on top after 21 years with 2018 Panorama title

BP Renegades is here to stay.

This was the declaration of arranger Duvone Stewart as his band won the 2018 Panorama title on Saturday night with 287 points.

The Coffee Street, San Fernando based band Skiffle, took second place with 280 points while Desperadoes took third place with 279 points.

Renegades opened the Large band category, setting the bar high with a performance that signalled the band's intention to break its 21-year drought.

When the dust was cleared and the marks declared, Stewart achieved his dream with an exciting and entertaining arrangement of Voice's 'Year for Love'.

The Tobago-born arranger also wrote himself into the history books by becoming the first arranger to win two titles on the same night as Pan Elders walked away with the Medium band title. This is the band's fifth consecutive win under Stewart.

Thanking God after his band was declared the winner, Stewart said it is now time for a new generation of arrangers and called on his peers to continue making music.
