Watch: The Selector app makes history

The Selector app can ease your frustration as a cricket fan, so says Indian app developer Nalin Khaitan.

Khaitan an avid supporter of his native Indian team, explained that his own frustration led to the invention of this history-making app.

The app gives you the ability to make decisions on the game in real-time that would be communicated to the captain of your team.

The Selector app will be used for the first time in Trinidad and Tobago on September 1, 2019, at the Queen’s Park Oval in the exhibition game featuring two Trinbago Knight Riders teams.

The Dwayne Bravo XI will see the “Prince of Port of Spain” Brian Lara taking to the field one more time and includes Sunil Narine, Lendl Simmons, and Amir Jangoo while the Kieron Pollard XI includes James Neesham, Denesh Ramdin and Khary Pierre.

Entrance to the venue is free.

For the first time, fans can make decisions using the Fan Decision System. All you need to do is download The Selector App, for free, on your mobile phones, and you can pick your captain, calling the toss, or choosing the batting order while enjoying the match LIVE.

The game starts at 11 am.
