Watch: Take your Easter pump off-island at My Grenada Weekend

The long Easter weekend is quickly approaching and you're probably still trying to figure out what to do.

Beach? It'll most likely be flooded by the masses. Tobago? Good luck getting a flight now. Speaking of flights, maybe you're thinking of adding some more stamps to your passport but you're worried about if your budget will allow it.

If you're looking to experience something different that's within budget, then My Grenada Weekend (MGW) is the perfect pump for Easter.

The five-day pump is being hosted by My Destination Weekend from March 29 - April 2, and, according to its founder, Niall McNish, started as a way to increase more travel around the Caribbean, allowing travel enthusiasts who have an eye on their pocket to not only island hop, but enjoy an all-inclusive getaway that's within budget.

With 2018 marking its fifth year running, My Destination Weekend has previously hosted My Jamaica Weekend and My Barbados Weekend. According to McNish, Grenada has really struck a chord with patrons because it's the most cost-effective. When you couple that with the planned events and activities with the beautiful Grenadian landscape, you'd really be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

My Destination Weekend as a brand has seen tremendous growth in such a short space of time. It debuted in its first year with one major beach party. Fast forward five years, guests can look forward to seven events including a sound clash hosted by Tallpree.

"Every year, we invite International Promotional Teams to host an event. In the past, we've had events thrown by Illusions Mas and Summer Crew. This year, it's Jam Nation and Dignitariez, as well as the team from Uber Soca Cruise," said McNish.

In between all the partying guests can also take part in several tourist activities that'll allow them to see the best of what Grenada has to offer, including ATV-ing, underwater snorkel tours at the world-famous Underwater Sculpture Museumand a waterfall hike.

The icing on the cake is that guests purchase packages based on their budget. Whether they want breakfast with their stay, the all-inclusive package or none, the customisable packages really add to the lure of the Grenada getaway.

Packages range from US$320 - US$660, all of which include a four-night, four-day stay The Grenadian by Rex Resorts.

With My Destination Weekend not only coining but stamping their name on 'entertainment tourism', there's no better time than now to get your travel on.
