Watch: T&T's Ahye cops historic gold at Commonwealth Games

Michelle-Lee Ahye has made history for Trinidad and Tobago, securing the country's first female athletics gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, after placing first in the 100 metres women's final.

Ahye edged out the competition with a blistering time of 11.14 seconds.

Grabbing silver with a time of 11.21 seconds was Jamaica's Christiana Williams, while bronze went to Gayon Evans who clocked a personal best of 11.22 seconds.
