A video of a San Fernando woman, who was seen dancing with a cocoyea broom while holding a photo of former prime minister Patrick Manning, has gone viral online.

People's National Movement (PNM) candidate for San Fernando East, Brian Manning, son of the late Patrick Manning, shared the video via a public Facebook post with the caption:

'You know what time it is when PNM is in your area. #sweepingtime #therightchoice

#votepnm #movingwithmanning #sanfernandoeast2020  #pnmfamily #onesanfernandoeastonefamily.'

The video received over 1,000 shares and hundreds of likes on Facebook.

Manning, who was conducting a walkabout to meet residents in Pleasantville, also shared a photo to Facebook, thanking them for their support:

'It was sweeping time in Pleasantville today! Thank you for the love!'

Brian's father, Patrick Manning, served as San Fernando East MP from 1971 to 2015 and was the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives.

Challenging him for the San Fernando East seat is United National Congress (UNC) candidate Monifa Andrews.

Andrews, a mother of three, is a resident of San Fernando East and a small business owner.

According to a UNC bio, she has been active in politics since 2010.
