WATCH:Nehilet Blackman to Light It Up for women affected by hurricanes

Nehilet Blackman will be hosting her benefit concert 'Light it Up! A Concert and Hurricane Relief' this Saturday, October 28 to aid and relief to the women who have been affected by the hurricanes that recently hit a number of Caribbean islands. 

Blackman stopped by Loop to talk more about the concert, along with two of the carded guest artists, Anne | Ssa and Sherry Ann Maughan. 

Patrons are being asked to make a donation of $100 and donate a “Light Pack”. Light Packs are packages consisting of feminine hygiene products to send to the women of Dominica. Part proceedings will also go towards the cause for everyone who purchases a Wear the Word (WTW) tee shirt this week. 

All Light Packs will be donated to ITNAC and Trinidad & Tobago Cancer Society in commemoration of cancer awareness month.Part proceeds also go to Lights, The Band Ministries.
