Water disruptions in Maraval continue as repairs on well delayed

WASA is advising of a disruption in supply to parts of Maraval and Paramin due to mechanical problems being experienced at the Paramin Well No 7.

The Authority says the completion to repairs to well has been delayed.

It says embarking upon repairs, it was discovered that the damage was more extensive than originally envisaged necessitating additional work being conducted.

WASA says the work is projected to be completed by Friday.

Affected areas include: Le Platte Village, Mt. Cyril, Fatima Trace, Saut D'eau, La Finnete, Cacoa, Morne Rene, Morne Roche, Morne Roche Ext. Unity Street.             

Customers are advised to conserve stored water supplies, as only a truck borne water supply will be available during the period of the disruption.
