Water supply disruptions in Maracas, St Joseph

Residents in Maracas, St Joseph may experience a disruption in water supply from Tuesday May 29 as a result of planned electrical works to the Acono and Luengo & Naranjo Water Treatment Plants.

In a statement issued Monday May 28, the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said the planned electrical works by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) will affect the power supply to both water treatment plants between the hours of 9.00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

WASA said it will take between four and six hours for scheduled pipe borne water supply schedules to normalize thereafter.

Areas to be affected include:

Maracas Royal Road from Freeman Street, St. Joseph to Acono Road including:

Acono Road                                       

Avondale Gardens                                         

Balata Trace

Buena Vista Gardens

Caiman Road                                                     

Caurita Road

El Chorro                                                             

Guarrata Village

La Baja Road                                                      

La Mango

La Seiva Village                                 

Luengo Road

Mountain View

Rose Drive

Silk Cotton Drive                                              

Wharf Trace
