Water supply interruption in Morvant

Morvant residents are advised of a scheduled interruption in their water supply, according to the Water and Sewerage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (WASA).

The company said in a statement issued Wednesday that the interruption is due to a mechanical problem at the Lady Young Booster Station.

"The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Lady Young Booster Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply, that this is due to a mechanical problem at the facility."

"Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by midnight on Thursday 31st October, 2019."

Coconut Drive

Comprehensive Drive

Las Alturas

Marie Road                                              

Mon Repos      

Never Dirty                                              

Pelican Extension

Ramdial Development                          

Red Hill                                                     

Second Caledonia

Customers are further advised that after the Booster has returned to service, it may take up to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.
