Who left a box of ammunition at this Tobago bakery?

Tobago police are trying to identify the person who forgot a box containing five rounds of live shotgun cartridges at a bakery in Tobago.

The discovery was made by a 63-year-old baker around 5.00 pm on Wednesday evening.

He found a container on the counter of his store, located at Bower Junction, Montgomery, Tobago.

Upon investigating, he found the ammunition inside the box.

The police were contacted and Sgt Roberts and a team of his officers visited the scene.

Police were told that the baker was last at his store on Tuesday night. He said around 7.00 pm, while customers were in the bakery, the electricity was cut off.

He ordered the customers out and closed up the store.

Police suspect that the container may have been left by one of the customers and as a result, they are expected to review CCTV footage from the area.

WPC Noel is continuing inquiries.

More on this as it becomes available.
