Woman killed in accident still unidentified Loop News Created : 19 February 2018 T&T News A woman who was killed in an accident on Friday night along the Solomon Hochoy Highway is yet to be identified. The deceased, police said, was clad in a black jersey and black underwear. She appeared to be in her early 50s, of African descent, slim build and about five feet, five inches in height. Police were told that prior to the accident, she had been observed walking along the white separation line along the northbound lane of the highway. Reports indicate that around 10:30 pm that day, the driver of a silver Nissan Tiida, upon nearing the Tarouba Flyover, came into contact with the woman. She was said to have “suddenly” run from the right lane into the pathway of the car. She died instantly. Mon Repos Police are continuing inquiries. Anyone with information which could lead to the identification of the deceased are asked to contact the nearest police station.
