World Class Cocktail Week is coming to Trinidad

The first-ever World Class Cocktail Week is coming to Trinidad.

The curated cocktail experience will run from October 27 - November 5, and will be staged in key cocktail bars, allowing consumers to experience an array of luxury brands from the Diageo Reserve portfolio: Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, Zapaca Rum, Ketel One Vodka, Tanqueray No. TEN, and Tequila Don Julio.

We have amazing spirits with a lot of complexity and depth," said Dominic Lau, Marketing Manager for Diageo Brands portfolio at AS Brydens. "We wanted to find a way to showcase this and that is what World Class Cocktail Week is about."

"We brought in Bruce Govia, who has a lot of experience. He's been in London for 10 years, working in some of the most amazing cocktail bars.  "He has also worked at a couple Michelin-starred restaurants, honed his craft in London and really embedded himself into the cocktail culture over there." Govia, who is Trini-born, is a well-recognised bartender in London, working in places like Opium Cocktail, Oscars, and Dabouss, which have consistently been in the top 20 cocktail bars in London.

Participating restaurants include Chaud Cafe and Wine Bar, Buzz Bar, More Vino North and South, Drink! Wine Bar, Trotters, Kava, and Samurai Restaurant. Cocktail prices will range from $40 to $50, VAT and service charge included.
