Praise for Molino as T&T beat Panama 1-0

Speaking to the media following the match, Lawrence said Molino was outstanding.

"He was very influential in allowing us to get the ball into attack in terms of the pitch, I was very pleased with him. Unfortunate that he ran out of gas but I was very pleased with him," he said.

Molino scored the lone goal that saw the team victorious. 

Trinidad and Tobago remain in fifth place with Mexico topping the region in the World Cup Qualifiers. The team will take on Mexico on Tuesday. 

Security Guidelines for T&T/Panama game

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association said that a meticulous Security Operational Policy will be in place, adhering to FIFA regulations to ensure the safety and security of all those who attend the CONCACAF Final Round 2018 World Cup qualifying match which will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 24  at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

T&T men begin final prep for Panama game

'Missing' woman returns, says she wasn't missing

Hema Kisoon returned home on Wednesday indicating to the police that contrary to reports, she “was not missing”.

The TTPS issued a release on Tuesday, seeking the public's assistance in finding the 'missing' woman. 

The release stated that she was last seen at home around 9:30 pm on February 7th. 

Cayman luring Trinidad's top teaching talent with top offers

The job posting made by Cayman’s Ministry of Education, Employment and Gender Affair noted that they were now accepting applications from primary and secondary school teachers for summer 2017.

The posting detailed that remuneration packages ranged from US52,700 –US 61,129 per annum, with 12% pension contribution and 100% health insurance for employees and their dependents.

Many teachers in Trinidad and Tobago shared the post and commented on the attractive salary packages, making comparisons to what they currently earn.

PriceSmart records decline in sales in T&T market

In its latest sales update, the international warehouse shopping company blamed the country's recession for its poor performance.

“The difficult economic environment resulted in a 5.0 percent decline in net warehouse sales compared to a year ago,” the company said.

Earlier this month, PriceSmart posted a notice at its branches advising shoppers that it was forced to limit the import of goods because of a shortage of US currency.

Vogue lists T&T as a hot destination for 2017

T&T placed sixth on the list with Georgia, Oman and Langkawi, Malaysia, in the top three respectively.

According to Vogue, T&T is the perfect altermative to Cuba which though still hot is logistically complicated to travel to for most Americans.

Dr Fuad Khan: Trini women getting too fat

Dr Fuad Khan told News Power Now that the situation is getting out of hand.

On Wednesday the Joint Select Committee for foreign affairs expressed concern with obesity, particularly in children.

Speaking to media on Thursday Dr Khan said the emerging US culture of fat acceptance and no fat shaming is going to negatively impact on this country.
