A 110-year-old Eucalyptus tree at the Royal Botanic Gardens has been vandalised.

The group, Friends of Botanic Gardens of Trinidad and Tobago shared the news via its Facebook page on Saturday.

The tree was planted in 1910.

"Sad news: A Eucalyptus tree at our Royal Botanic Gardens was torched by young vandals on October 22, 2020. This Eucalyptus tereteticornis was planted circa 1910."
