27 more people get COVID-19; death toll remains 93

Twenty-seven more people have contracted COVID-19.

According to the Ministry of Health, these cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.

To date, 5,154 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus locally from 30,978 sampled individuals.

Of that total, 1,609 are active and 93 have died.

Thus far, 3,452 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

One hundred and three people remain hospitalised.

Meanwhile, 40 individuals are in step-down facilities, 142 in state quarantine and 1,466 in self-isolation.
