Bandit makes off with $40K from warehouse

Over $40,000 in cash was stolen from a businesswoman.  

Central Division police are investigating the matter. 

The incident is believed to have taken place yesterday at a warehouse owned by the woman along Arbuckle Street, Caroni. 

Loop News was told that at about 8am on Monday, the woman secured a quantity of cash, estimated to be US$3,000 and TT$20,000, in a black bag in an office at the warehouse. 

Upon checking that evening, she observed that the items were missing. 

She immediately notified the police and a team of officers including Cpl Lezama, and PC Gordon, visited the scene. 

CCTV footage was secured and several people at the warehouse were interviewed.
