Belmont/Laventille residents have water troubles, WASA to fix it

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of Belmont/Laventille served by the St Barbs Tank that operational problems are responsible for the interruption of their pipe borne water supply.
Repair works are expected to be completed and supply restored by midnight.
Affected areas include:
- Upper St. Francois Valley Road Belmont Mon Repos
-China Town, Belmont
- St Barbs
- Ovid Alley
- Sogren Trace
- Beecham Cocoa
Residents are advised that following the resumption of operations, it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalise to some affected areas.
