CARICOM delegation meets with Guyana Gov't, Opposition
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley joined CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley in Georgetown, Guyana for a series of meetings which began on Wednesday with the parties who participated in the recent Guyanese election.
The CARICOM delegation includes Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica; Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell of Grenada; Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves of St Vincent and the Grenadines and CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque.

The delegation also met with President David Granger at the Ministry of the Presidency.
The delegation then met with Opposition Leader and General Secretary of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C), Bharrat Jagdeo and presidential candidate and Political Leader of the PPP/C, Irfaan Ali at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition.
Following this meeting the delegation met with a group of representatives from the other parties which contested the elections.
The delegation then hosted a joint meeting with a team from the Opposition, led by former President Bharrat Jagdeo and a team from the Government which ended in the early hours of Thursday.
