The body of an unidentified man was found on Monday morning in Fyzabad.

According to police reports, around 9.20 am, a 30-year-old man associated with Heritage Petroleum went to Forest Reserve, Fyzabad.

He followed a stench and discovered the body of a man about ten feet down a slope off the roadway.

The police were notified and a team of officers led by ASP Ramdeen, and including Insp Neemai, Insp Putkoo, Insp Correi, Sgt Jaggernath, and Cpl Deo, among others, visited the scene.

The body was viewed by a district medical officer and a wound was observed near the victim’s throat.
