Caribbean insurance giant, Sagicor is continuing to support communities as struggles arising out of COVID-19 persist.

Sagicor has recently donated hampers to the St James Police Youth Club, Chaguanas Borough Corporation and other areas. Respective branch managers got in contact with authorities in order to provide assistance where necessary.

Jacinto Martinez, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Sagicor Life Inc, said, “At Sagicor, our vision is to uplift our communities and so providing support at the community level is inherent for us and the responsible thing to do as a corporate citizen. COVID-19 is affecting everyone, especially the vulnerable among us. We are in a position to assist and our branch managers responded to the call to render that assistance.”

These donations were just part of Sagicor’s support throughout the country. They also partnered with local broadcast media to deliver tutorials to assist our nation’s children with their education; delivered essential food and hygiene supplies to homes for children and the elderly; donated handheld thermometers to the Port of Spain City Corporation; sponsored radio prevention tips on COVID-19 to the public; hosted an online camp on social media; as well as donated supplies and food to socially displaced persons.
