Dreamy Creamy deals with packaging hiccups, assures customers of stock

Local ice cream company Dream Creamy reached out to customers via social media on Wednesday, assuring them that their favourite flavours were on the way after dealing with some packaging issues.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the company said they have had to adapt due to the closing of their branches under the current COVID-19 regulations, however, their ice cream tubs are still available in selected supermarkets, stores and service stations.

“Hello to all our loyal and new customers, we appreciate your support through these strange and tough times. We are doing everything we can and within the law to keep providing you with the best ice cream available in T&T.”

“We pride ourselves in striving to continue to be the best in the Caribbean when it comes to premium world beating ice cream and new and fun flavours.”

“It’s not just the continued effort every day to fill each container with a high quality product but this goes with friendly customer service and what should be a high quality presentation of our product on the shelf.”

The company said as a result they have had some issues regarding the packaging for their products.

“This channel (grocery shelves) is our only existing channel of sale right now. You will notice a lack of standardization and quality in our packaging presentation. We do (rely) on local companies for our packaging in an effort to support local.”

“We assure you we are continuing to work on this problem even in these tough times to ensure our representation on any shelf matches what’s inside our containers.”

“We have some surprises coming and waiting for some sort of return to normalcy in T&T to launch this to the public.”

“We try very hard to put all the necessary pieces together when it comes to selling a quality product. I look forward to your continued support and feel free to message us with any concerns or issues you may have.”

The company also listed stores where their ice creams can be found ahead of Mother’s Day:

Their ice creams can be found at JTA Supermarkets, Cyrus Road Gas Station, Bloom’s Imports Tru Valu Supermarkets, Artie’s Meats, Maraval, Simple Choice Mart, Cascade, D’ Village Mart, Tradewinds, Lindsay, Westmoorings, and JP, Diego Martin.
