The Zoological Society of Trinidad and Tobago (ZSTT) has instituted a new system for visits to the Emperor Valley Zoo from today (August 1, 2020).
In a statement on Friday, the ZSTT said due to the demand by families and the public at large, the Zoo in accordance with its enhanced guidelines and policies is able to facilitate visits on a limited basis, by appointment only.
It added that copy of these guidelines will be provided at the gate on entry.
Persons desirous of visiting the Zoo are required to make contact via Facebook and the necessary arrangements will be confirmed.
The ZSTT said due to the limited number of persons to be facilitated daily, the Zoo will operate a first contact, first serve basis.
Persons are reminded that face masks are required to be worn at all times.
