'Frame' faces court on 32 charges, remanded into custody
A Glencoe man facing 32 charges has been remanded into custody for 120 days in accordance with the Bail Amendment Bill, after appearing before a Port of Spain Magistrate.
Anthony Ryan also known as ‘Frame’, a 38-year-old of La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, was charged on March 24, 2020 with six counts of shooting with intent, six counts of possession of a firearm to endanger life, six counts of possession of ammunition to endanger life, six counts of possession of firearm, six counts possession of ammunition and two counts of larceny.
Reports say around 3 am on March 14, 2020, six persons went to Upper La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, in a motor vehicle. They had a dispute with a man who then pulled out a revolver and fired several shots in their direction, forcing them to scamper into nearby bushes and drains.
The shooter then went into the motor vehicle and stole two phones and a quantity of cash.
Investigations were conducted by acting Corporal Frederick along with officers from the Carenage Criminal Investigations Department together.
Information was forwarded to the Joint Army Patrol (JAP) who arrested the suspect around 8.30 pm on March 20, 2020.
The matter was postponed to April 22, 2020, for mention.
