Investigators return to scene of Tacarigua fire

Investigators are expected to return to Tacarigua this morning to determine what caused a $400,000 fire in the community.

The fire was reported at about 3.30pm yesterday along St Michael Street, Tacarigua.

Officers of the Tunapuna Fire Station responded to a fire at a two storey building. When officers arrived, they found that the top floor of the building was ablaze.

The officers leapt into action and contained the fire to that section of the building.

They received assistance from appliances from the Wrightson Road HQ and the San Juan Fire Stations.

No one was injured.
