Live Blog: Hurricane season in the Caribbean
Earlier in 2020, meteorologists predicted an above-normal Hurricane Season this year, with seven to nine hurricanes estimated to affect the Caribbean region.
The Caribbean has already seen the passage of the first named Tropical Storm of the season – Gonzalo, which, fortunately, had little impact on the region.
Follow our Live Blog for continuous updates on these weather systems as they develop and make their way across the Atlantic Ocean to the islands.
Know which islands are on alert and monitor the impact of any passing storms or hurricanes.
Hurricane Season begins on June 1 and ends on November 30.
