A man who police have described as a 'priority offender' was detained last night in Arangeuz with an estimated $2,000 in cocaine.
The suspect, Loop News was told, was held at about 9.15pm along Freddy Street.
Officers from the North Eastern Division Task Force, under the supervisions of Snr Sup Phillip and Sup Alexander, were conducting routine patrols when they received intelligence which led them stop and search the man.
In his possession, the officers found and seized a quantity of cocaine, which resulted in his immediate arrest.
He is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate today to answer the charges.
