MoE officials give devices to representatives of three children's homes.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has handed over an undisclosed number of devices, donated by corporate sponsors, to the Cyril Ross Nursery, St Jude’s Home for Girls and Hope Centre.
At the ceremony was Minister of Education Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, Minister in the Ministry of Education Lisa Morris -Julian and Permanent Secretary Lenor Baptiste-Simmons.
The event was held at Education Towers, St Vincent Street, Port of Spain on Friday.
Receiving on behalf of their institutions were Savita Seebaran, Manager of Hope Centre Home, Sandra Stapelton, Manager of the Cyril Ross Nursery and Amelia Baptise, Senior Home Supervisor of the St Jude’s Home for Girls.
The handing over ceremony follows a similar event earlier this month, where the MoE gave over 70 laptops to ECCE teachers and 98 laptops to public special schools for children with special educational needs.
