Nailah debuts first Carnival filter from Instagram

Winery Mas has launched new Carnival filters on Instagram.

Soca star Nailah Blackman debuted the filters today called Carnival Cutie while sharing an exclusive teaser of her soon-to-be-released song Carnival.

Blackman revealed the new filters in collaboration with Winery Mas, a company based in Hollywood, California, founded by Trinidadian born visual artist and tech entrepreneur, Graham Goddard. Winery Mas says it is the first company in the world to receive approval from Instagram to feature Carnival filters, designed for women around the globe to use augmented reality to have fun with virtual carnival headpieces.

The new Instagram filters can be found by searching for filters in your stories and by searching with the word “carnival”. It can also be found in the filter section on the @winerymas page.

Carnival lovers can try out the filters while using the Instagram filter in selfie mode. The system will automatically add a colourful Carnival headpiece to a person’s head, transforming them into a virtual Carnival masquerader.
