Effective Monday, the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIBTT) will return to its regular business hours, pre-COVID-19 restrictions.
NIBTT advised on Sunday that the change in hours is in keeping with Government’s phased re-opening guidelines.
Clients are advised that NIBTT will operate from 8 am to 4.15 pm daily and from 8 am to 2.30 pm the first Thursday of every month.
NIBTT further advised that the use of drop-boxes for depositing claims will be discontinued on a phased basis from the week of June 22, 2020 and the Arima Collection Centre will remain closed to customer traffic.
Customers are reminded to wear a face mask, sanitise using in-house pumps, and maintain social distancing at 6 ft.
Further, customers are advised to visit the NIBTT offices only if they are physically well. Those displaying flu-like symptoms will be asked to return when in better health.
