One week has passed since Air Guard Corporal Sowande Osei Morean was fatally shot, and police are seeking the public's help in locating his killer. 

Morean, of Saddle Road, Maraval, was fatally shot at about 12:10am on September 18 while at the home of a female friend along Escallier Terrace, off Pitman Lane, Belmont. 

Only Morean was shot; he suffered injuries to his face and neck. 

He was rushed to the Port of Spain General Hospital, but he succumbed to his wounds while undergoing treatment. 

Police were given information about another man, an acquaintance of the woman that Morean was visiting, who disapproved of their relationship. 

They have been given a description of the suspect and are hopeful that arrests will be imminent.
