Police praise citizens as no one arrested during exercise

Northern Division police are praising Tunapuna residents for adhering to traffic laws and regulations, after no-failed breathalyser tests last night.
Police said that 20 persons were administered tests, in an operation led by Cpl Bissoon in the Tunapuna district, however, no one exceeded the prescribed limit. The legal limit in Trinidad and Tobago is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitre of breath.
The operation took place between 6 pm and 10 pm yesterday.
Also, special attention was paid to business places with regards to capacity and closing hours as prescribed under the Public Health Ordinance.
No arrests were made.
