Update: 5533 samples submitted for COVID-19 testing to date

More samples have been submitted for COVID-19 testing.

In its 6 pm update on Saturday, the Ministry of Health said 5533 samples have been submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and UWI site for testing for COVID-19 - 132 more samples compared its 10 am update on Saturday morning.

The country’s case load stands at 130, with 115 discharges and eight deaths.

Seven positive COVID-19 patients remain hospitalised at the Caura Hospital.

In its 10 am update on Saturday morning, the Ministry of Health said 5,401 samples have been submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and UWI site for testing for COVID-19 - 63 more samples compared its 6 pm update on Friday evening.

A total of 4,147 unique patients tests have been completed and 1254 tests have been repeated.

The country’s case load stands at 130, with 115 discharges and eight deaths.
