The Judiciary has announced that the Spiaria District Court will be closed from today, July 31, until further notice.

The closure follows concerns that an employee at the court may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

In a media release, the Judiciary explained that the employee may have been exposed to a primary contact of someone who has tested positive for the virus.

As a result, no in-person hearings will be conducted and the building will be closed for sanitisation.

A date for the reopening of the building will be announced once it is determined.
