SRP surrenders to police after wife’s death

A Special Reserve Police Constable (SRP) surrendered himself to his colleagues after a confrontation with his wife that ended with her death.

The deceased was identified as Vera Golabie, 28, of Matura.

The scene was contained and the body viewed by a district medical officer and ordered removed.

An autopsy is carded to take place today at the Forensic Science Center in St James.
