Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Mostly sunny, but some showers expected

Here's a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (Met Office).
For the period today until midnight, mainly sunny day despite a brief, light to moderate, shower in a few areas. There is a low to medium chance of a heavy shower or isolated thunderstorm during the afternoon favouring western areas of Trinidad.
During the evening to night there is the chance of a brief shower in a few areas. In the event that a heavy shower or thunderstorm does occur winds can become gusty and street or flash flooding is likely in the areas of occurrence.
Seas are moderate with waves two to 2.5 metres in open waters and one metre and at times choppy in sheltered areas.
Sea conditions in sheltered areas can become agitated at high tide, due to the effects of spring tide.
