Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Strong Saharan dust concentration

Here's a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.

For the period today until midnight, dull, hazy and breezy conditions are expected despite a 30 percent (low) chance of brief showers.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with intermittent light or moderate showers occurring in varying localities.

There is a strong concentration of Saharan dust in the atmosphere, near unhealthy and hazardous levels.

Those who are so affected are asked to take the necessary precautions.

Seas are moderate with waves two to 2.5 metres in open waters and one metre in sheltered areas.
