Tropical Storm Paulette continues its journey west

Tropical Storm Paulette is expected to turn west-north-westward later today as it makes its journey over the Atlantic Ocean.
At 5am AST, the US National Hurricane Centre said Tropical Storm Paulette’s centre of circulation was located about 1145 miles (1845 km) east of the northern Leeward Islands.
It's moving toward the west near 8 mph (13 km/h).
A slightly faster motion toward the west-northwest is expected later today, followed by a temporary westward motion on Thursday. A turn back toward the west-northwest is expected on Friday.
Paulette has maximum sustained winds that near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km) from the centre. Little change in strength is forecast to take place today and the storm is expected to weaken on Thursday and Friday.
