TTIT reminds of COVID-19 travel guidelines

The management of the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Corporation (TTIT) is reminding the public of its travelling guidelines to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

The list is as follows:

- Practice proper social distancing in the terminal environment, terminals and on the ferries. People are reminded to avoid congregating and any close contact with persons in the queue. Please note the passenger restrictions on the vessels’ due to social distancing:

Jean de la Valette - 350 passengers

T&T Spirit - 350 passengers

Galleons Passage - 200 passengers

MV Cabo Star - 40 passengers

- Undergo a screening exercise prior to entering port terminals and ferries

- Anyone displaying flu-like symptoms are not allowed to enter the terminal without proof of medical assessment

- Wear face masks

- Wash/sanitize hands prior to entering the terminals

- Restricted movement during sailings
