Two more COVID-19 positive patients die

Two additional people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago taking fatalities to 95.

The Ministry of Health made the disclosure in its 4 pm clinical update. 

Furthermore, 47 more people have contracted the novel coronavirus from samples taking during the period October 13 to 15.

To date, 5,241 individuals have been infected with COVID-19 locally.

Of that total, 1,601 are active, 3,545 have recovered and 98 are hospitalised.

Forty-three patients are in step-down fatalities, 244 are in state quarantine and 1,460 are in self-isolation.

Meanwhile, 31,343 people have been tested for the viral respiratory illness.
