Two more die from COVID-19, 63 new cases recorded

Trinidad and Tobago has recorded two more COVID-19 deaths, pushing the number of fatalities to 115.

Additionally, 63 new COVID-19 cases have been reported.

In its 4pm update on Saturday, the Ministry of Health indicated that of the 63 new cases, 14 are from the prison system and one is a repatriate.

It added the number of positive cases are from samples taken during the period November 18 to 20, and not the last 24 hours.

Trinidad and Tobago's caseload stands at 6,324.

There are 615 active cases.

Speaking at a media conference on Saturday, Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram revealed that there there has been a slight increase in COVID-19 cases, with a daily average of 37.
