"Not me": UNC Toco/Sangre Grande candidate Nabila Greene has categorically denied that the woman in the video is her.

UNC candidate for Toco/Sangre Grande Nabila Greene has responded to a video circulating on social media showing a woman lying on a bed in lingerie being showered with money by a man.

On Tuesday, three videos began circulating on social media allegedly of the UNC candidate.

In statement issued on Wednesday, Greene denied that the woman in the video is her.

She placed a screenshot of one of the videos next to a photo of her smiling, highlighting that her teeth are different from that of the woman in the video.

"There is absolutely no resemblance in the video being put out there of the candidate, and I wish to categorically deny that I am the person in the said video."

The UNC candidate accused the People's National Movement (PNM) of engaging in "gutter politics."

"By a disgusting display of gutter politics at its worst, using lies, deceit, deception, and slander against a young female candidate, the PNM believes that you the people will forget what they have not provided for you over the past five years." Meanwhile, the PNM has distanced itself from the circulation of the videos. The PNM said it has never, and never will, engage in that type of "bombastic politics."

The party said before the dissolution of Parliament, during a sitting a month ago on June 22, the UNC announced that there were explicit images of one of its female candidates.

"I reiterate the fact that this is yet another act of self-loathing in the UNC in which dissatisfied factions within its own ranks undertake acts of sabotage and deliberate, vicious attacks on their own."
