Bajan photojournalist killed at murder scene
A photojournalist attached to a newspaper in Barbados has been murdered in the course of duty.
The photojournalist, who has not been publicly identified, worked for the Nation newspaper.
He was reportedly attacked and killed when he responded to reports of a body at Bishop Court Hill at the abandoned residence of the Anglican Bishop of Barbados.
The two deceased men had lacerations about their bodies.
According to Police Public Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Rodney Inniss, a private company was doing work in the area this morning and called the police to report the discovery of a body.
He said that police responded and arrived at the scene to confirm that there was the body of an adult male.
"Our investigations led us to a second body. We are still early and still active in our investigations," he said.
