Caesar’s Army’s ROGUE is a band that doesn’t follow the ‘rules’ of Carnival as we know it.
While most masqueraders are up at dawn, rushing to get ready and meet the bad to begin the day-long trek through the streets of Port of Spain, ROGUE revellers opt for a later start to the day.
Once they got to the Socadrome, the major stage for many of the TRIBE family of bands, ROGUE masqueraders didn’t cross section by section, but ran across as one massive band, unabated by security officials.
Loop spoke to Kim Kirton, publicist for the band to find out exactly what it is that makes the ROGUE experience so different from other Carnival bands.
